Update...

All I can say is I apologize to anyone, if there is anyone that read that first post. I realize, no pictures, no details, and no updates for months probably presented the possibility that the project is dead. That being said, it's tough when you have two goals at hand; one being to get out of debt in the next year, and the second obviously being the scoot being finished for next summer.

I have proceeded to tear the entire thing apart, aside from the engine, as I'm terrible when it comes to mechanical stuff, and I don't want to leave too much time between reassembly. I've decided on the 186 mugello kit, with a 42 mm clubman exhaust, and a 24mm flatslide Mikuni carb(which has been ordered). I'm also looking for a MEC race crank, and I'm going to go with an upgraded carbon fibre clutch. I know I'm not going to be producing a ridiculous amount of power but I'd just rather be safe. All the standard stuff needs ordering as well: seals, bearings, gaskets, cables and wires.

Parts have been taken by a friend of mine to be prepped for painting, and after stripping the original paint found that some of the body work had been bodged up in a previous attempt. The frame and engine will be powder coated, along with some little things like the kick start and brake pedal, etc. I'm also thinking about fabricating some custom floorboards. I got the idea from a site I can't remember, so I know the idea isn't my own, but I loved the look so much that I'm willing to plagerize. I believe I've finally decided on a color scheme, but that shall remain a secret until it's unveiling.

That's all for now. Hopefully if the cash issue is solved, I can begin ordering some of the pricier items sooner rather than later, and maybe I'll throw some pictures up.
